Pantas exhibits and speaks at Bank of Thailand Digital Finance Conference 2023
Lionel Loh - 16 Sep 2023 (updated 8 May 2024)BANGKOK, 15 SEPTEMBER 2023 – Pantas concludes its 2-day presence at the Central Bank of Thailand's annual flagship event, BOT Digital Finance Conference (BDFC) 2023. The team had the opportunity to bring Pantas to the global stage, showcasing its innovative solutions and engaging with the experts and leaders in the financial sector of Thailand. The conference theme was ‘Building Ecosystem for Responsible Innovation’, and was held between 14–15 September 2023 at Bank of Thailand's (BOT) Learning Center.
The 2-day conference gathered policymakers, industry leaders and key players from the banking-finance sector in Thailand to share knowledge on innovation and development of financial technology.
The Pantas team would like to thank the Bank of Thailand (BOT) Governor, Dr. Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput and the Deputy Governor, Ronadol Numnonda, for taking the time to understand and support Pantas in its pursuit of empowering businesses to adopt green and sustainable practices through carbon measurement and management. The team is eager to partner with BOT, akin to its current collaboration with Bank Negara Malaysia's Greening Value Chain (GVC) programme.
On the 15th of September, Pantas CEO, Max Lee, moderated a panel discussion revolving around the new business opportunities for sustainable growth, emphasizing the importance of addressing climate change challenges and the role businesses can play in this journey. The team thanks its esteemed panelists: Dr. Karin Boonlertvanich – Head of Corporate Strategy & Innovation, Kasikornbank (KBank) and Mr. Wong Yuen C. - Chief Sustainability Officer, UOB (Thailand), for making the session as impactful as it was.
For the first time, Pantas had both its COO, Nurul Syaheedah Jes Izman and CTO, Eong Tat Ooi, hosting a 1-hour product showcase session on “AI-powered Carbon Management Solution”. They showed how Pantas can help financial institutions and businesses to effectively measure, manage and decarbonise carbon emissions from its operations and pursue green and sustainable business opportunities. The Pantas team demonstrated its cutting-edge platform that enables seamless integration, data-driven insights & customer-centric solutions. The team were glad to receive positive feedback & interest from the attendees.
Throughout the conference, Pantas had a dedicated exhibition that enabled many conversations and interactions with potential clients & partners. The team shared its solution, case studies and success stories with the visitors and was able to connect with organisations across different industries, mainly financial institutions.
