Capital Markets Malaysia Launches the Simplified ESG Disclosure Guide (SEDG) in Collaboration with Pantas
Lionel Loh - 19 Oct 2023 (updated 8 May 2024)KUALA LUMPUR, 18 OCTOBER 2023 – Capital Markets Malaysia (CMM), an affiliate of the Securities Commission Malaysia, today unveiled the Simplified ESG Disclosure Guide (SEDG) for SMEs in Supply Chains. With this groundbreaking initiative, Malaysia becomes the first country globally to offer such a pivotal resource.
In collaboration with CMM, Pantas has been selected as the ESG reporting platform to champion the SEDG among Malaysian SMEs and drive its uptake.
As part of the effort, Pantas will seamlessly integrate CMM’s SEDG into its software, making its guidance available for SMEs participating in Bank Negara Malaysia’s Greening Value Chain (GVC) programme.
